These are the lines that came back to me, years after writing them in a poem, when I was going through a break up just before leaving London in 2012. When things arrive, it’s best to welcome them in and offer them a cup of tea, instead of chasing them away with the broom. I’m so glad I followed my instinct, as it led to me writing my new song ‘Brand New’, coming out 26 June. It’ll be great to share with all of you! ❤ Photography: @markwong__
